  1. OK, talking of dodgy UX patterns (thanks @scottjenson) I've just noticed that OSx rearranges secondary desktops when you plug in power. (I normally only do this when plugging into power & second monitor so sort of expect it)

      OK, so this might not be based on plugging in the power cable, it could just be spontaneous which is so much worse.
