    1. OK, so @github took over @npmjs and this was good, it needed somebody to keep it running. But they don't appear to have done actually done anything other than pay the bandwidth/storage bill.

    I raised a bug about hooks not working and they can't answer if it's supposed to work or not (for none paying users). It's in the docs docs.npmjs.com/cli/v8/commands/npm-hook the commands all work, no errors. I can list the deployed hooks. But the callbacks never fire.

      The only other mention of the feature is a blog post from 2016 saying its currently available for paid individuals/organisations but if that's still the case then the cli tool should fail for none paid users, or at least Support should be able to say so.
