Tracks2Miles 1.1.10

Just a quick update while I’m still working on a 2.x release*.

This release has 2 updates:

  1. A small update to the import code to make use of the patch I managed to get included in the latest (1.1.11) release of My Tracks
  2. A new setting in the preferences to block uploading GPX data with a workout imported from My Tracks. This was a feature requested to help people with privacy concerns

You can download Tracks2Miles here: https://market.android.com/details?id=uk.me.hardill.dailymile

* The plan is for 2.x to have a updated UI making use of fragments for tablet and ICS devices.

  1. Hi Ben, Thanks for the great app! Just wanted to let you know I have been having an odd issue for the last few weeks. I have both My Tracks and tracks2miles set to use imperial units, but when I go to upload a track, it assumes My Tracks is set to use metric units. For instance, the upload information for a track that is 1.87 miles says that it is 1.16 miles, a 5.73 mile track shows up as 3.56 miles, etc. It didn’t used to do this, so something changed in the last month or two. Any suggestions on how to fix? Oh, and for what it’s worth, I am running this on a Droid Incredible. Thanks in advance.

    1. Hi Amy,

Thanks for letting me know. I have a sneaking suspicion I know where the problem is, I just need to find some time to have a poke round. It may have to wait till the weekend, but I’ll try and get a fix out as soon as I can.

I’ve just pushed a new build (1.1.11) that should fix this. Please give it a go and let me know if you have a problem.
