I have removed both of the apps in the title from the play store.
This is for a number reasons:
- MyTracks removed the API required to get at the recorded tracks meta data which vastly reduced the capability of the app.
- DailyMile shut down, which rendered Tracks2Miles useless.
- Google flagged both apps as potentially having SQL injection attacks (while theoretically possible I couldn’t find a directly exploitable use case).
- Even before the shutdown I had completely moved all my activity tracking to dedicated Garmin devices and Strava.
